Help for the Individual

You are not alone in your struggle. 

The numbers of people who are following Jesus but still using porn are higher than you can imagine. In one country it is 75% of men, 40% of women.

You are not shameful. 

Yes, using porn is far below your standards and those that God has set for us, you don’t need us to tell you that. But it is probably your belief that you are ‘shameful’ that contributes to you being unable to quit porn, because shame is to addiction what oxygen is to a fire.

You are not going to hell. 

Paul the Apostle says, the good things I want to do, I don’t do. The bad things I don’t want to do, I do them. We will live with sin all around us until we arrive in the life to come. Until then the blood of Jesus cleanses us. We sin; we repent. We are forgiven. 

You can't quit on your own. 

The shame has kept you silent and isolated in your struggle. It's shocking but even God says it needs Him plus another to bring you to freedom. Read James 5:16, ‘confess your sins to each other.’ That’s why our logo is three strands. You. Us. God. Our Mentors are qualified and equipped to be that third person in your journey, walking with you out of isolation, out of shame and in ever increasing levels of freedom
